You nailed it in the last sentence. Ruiz would have lost to a lot of mediocre opponents that night in Saudi.

Sure, Usyk is better than Joshua. But it probably will not create fireworks the way one would hope for a HW unification match. Fury is most entertaining in bull/matador scenarios, as I'm still not sure that even the new version will be fun against a guy like Usyk. Historically, Fury has been boring. And because he's difficult to catch, I think Usyk's offense will be negated as well.

I want to see the best fighting the best.

Wilder and Joshua can fight one another in the losers bracket.

Joshua will die in the ring in the rematch sadly. And rematch will never be happened. Hearn doesn't want to see his golden cow's corpse in the ring.

    This is a bold prediction.

Gut feeling or something else lead you down that road?

It could well end up a cagey affair, but it would be a meeting of the division's consensus top guys, with all the marbles on the line, so it'll be forever significant in substantive legacy terms.

I don't foresee anything outright dire, such as a Klitschko-Ibragimov type of scenario. It should at least make for some compelling live viewing, even if it's not one that people pull out to watch over and over.

Fury was often must-see TV in his first five years, was criticized for a tendency to slug it out with opponents on his come-up. Then he began to exert greater discipline over his boxing, using his attributes to limit attrition, and was criticized for a perceived safety-first mentality or a lack of inclination to pick up his offense. More lately, having saved up for some wars through that middle phase of his career, he's been a focused aggressor with a keenly destructive mentality.

I see a guy who knows what he's doing with his career, much more than he's given credit for, and who will do what he has to do to win.

LMAO unless the fight gets stopped on cuts TKO6 style i don't see it happening. Bold prediction but not a likely one. Joshua has always struggled with slick fighters like against Erislandy Savon and Usyk has an iron chin on top of that.

Joshua will gas himself out and get stopped in the 8th

:risas3::risas3::risas3::risas3::risas3::risas3: Charles ****ing Martin and to top it off, Dave ****ing Allen. David Tua could come out of retirement at 48 and spark out Martin.

Is there anyone else in the world you hate as much as Joshua?

AJ can still make money fighting Wilder and get his shot at the winner later. Fury should get a chance to win the belts back he was never beat inside the ring for plus undisputed.

Man, you Fury fans want the Usyk fight so bad that you are ignoring all logic to get it. Just like Arum. Full stop, all of you. AJ is fighting Usyk next and hopefully the WBC does the right thing for once and forces Fury to fight Whyte. Otherwise Fury will fight the lowest ranked, weakest chinned, feather punching bum he can find until he gets a unification fight.

Fury by his actions/inactions caused him to lose the titles, he alleges it was some little guy called 'mental elf' :eyepop: who caused it, you know the guy who puts coke up your nose, fills your gut with fast food and wild boar, while pouring copious amounts of alcohol down water down your throat.

So no he should have no more chance to win the belts than any other fighter, if he is good enough he will do so, but no free pass, he chose to be the undisputed KFC, Columbian marching powder beer swilling champ rather than be undisputed Heavyweight Boxing Champion, he made his choice.

Having said that i do think the bout for undisputed will happen, that is if Fury can stay motivated till it comes about, he isn't a lover of the hard grind of training camp.

You do know that substance abuse, uncontrolled eating are symptoms of mental health issues.
In fury's case the only thing keeping him sane was his goal of becoming a world champion and training and even at that he found i my hard train consistently. There is stories of him breaking down crying while training back then, just look at some of his interviews around that time, looking back its fairly obvious his not right.
The guy seems bi polar and is probably a manic depressive and as good as his doing now i wouldn't be surprised if he relapses at some stage which is sad.
Your comment is both ignorant and mean spirited.

Regardless Fury vacated and waa stripped due to his own problems and not going through with the legally obligated Klitschko rematch. So no point in complaining that he never "lost" and that they were "his belts"

In don't care about that but mate. I just think this idea that some idiots have that fury made up these issues to avoid fights or he is making the mental health stuff up to be insane.
He had all the physical and mental signs of serious depression and mental health issues.
If you believe he mad it all up you would have to have special needs
