Why do you think they've never fought ? Eddie Hearn steered Joshua away from Price because he know his cashcow would get that chin cracked. Just like he steered Joshua from the divisions boogeyman king kong Luis Ortiz

David Price could have beaten Joshua. One punch on Joshua's dome and the bout is over. David Price scored a KD against Povetkin just before Povetkin fought Joshua. Of course, if Price gets hit, it's also over. It's not a foregone conclusion either way.

I side with David Price. He has a bigger punch.

It'll never happen now that Price is retired.

Brilliant thinking mate, bringing up fights from over a decade ago when one of them was just starting boxing and the other was a 28 year old who has already had a long and successful amateur career.

Of course, that's why Joshua has wins over Povetkin, Parker, Whyte, Pulev, Kltischko... of course mate. Surely then if he could brutalise AJ... Thompson would brutalise all of the above.

 

He did drop Povetkin - although Povetkin was old and past it, and the version Joshua faced was even older. This is a guy who was never that great to begin with, by the way, never a world champion. Just to put things into perspective.

Paint Dry Parker is crap and his fight with him is a skidmark on his record, nothing to be proud about.

Whyte was green, injured and out of shape. Still managed to wobble Joshua and make him do his trademark funny dance.

Pudding Pulev is absolutely crap and was crap in 2014 when he somehow got a world title shot, and was no better last year as a depleted version of the crap pudding he was in his prime.

Klitschko was old, inactive and had already been sparked by mediocre opponents.

Price has a chance against them all, that's the truth.
