Meeting an old opponent next week from 35 years ago. Gave the game my best without even getting in the ABA's.
My opponent back the was Combined Services Champion. A year later he was a sparring partner to the England team at the Commonwealth Games. When he turned Pro, he was British top 10.

Peter McGrail pro debut tonight

 

Looked good and a special mention to his opponent who had pride and tried. He must have had a days notice and 99% of people out of their depth against a prospect just spew it. He was hurt and could have got out but battled through. His record seems poor but Andy Lee mentioned the total record of who he’d fought against and it was massively winning record.

McGrail was nick named Peter chencko. Long way to go to be getting compared to him but you can see why as he likes to create them angles. He’ll be promoted and matched well and make a load of money. I don’t think he’ll end up like Stalker who couldn’t adapt to the pros.

 

When are these turning over?

British boxing is struggling at the minute, we need some new talent asap.
