So what do you make of this lad? Has Hearn struck gold with this young man? I know it's still early days but he's already gathered quite a bit of support. Is this kid the real deal? Discuss
Certainly rare in terms of shifting tickets, far too early to say anything in terms of boxing though, Eddie's obviously wet at the idea of rinsing his fans, reckons he'll give him 15 fights before he fights a "proper" heavyweight. I don't doubt it for a second.
He’ll be wheeled out on all Eddie’s shows in London or near London as he’ll shift a thousand tickets by himself. His family are very popular and well known on Tik-Tok. Basically just post videos of them taking it in turns to say Bosh while drinking and eating. I like him.
Hes certainly got the physical attributes, a solid 240lb+ and standing 6'5". Looks relatively light on his feet, fast hands, decent pop in his punches and likes to get stuck in. Should certainly be able to make waves domestically and he's only 22. Very early days but, he looks half decent.
He seems a good guy. I saw him give a couple of tickets to someone who had tweeted him saying he couldn’t afford to go this time. Not in a nauseating virtue signalling Anthony Fowler way either. I find his family pretty funny too.
Seems a nice guy, clever lad too, Could do with getting away from Hearn and the nauseating BOSH catchphrase. Big and from what others are saying freakishly strong, fighting knock overs at the moment so hard to judge. He's no Campbell Hatton though.
Haha. That's just what I thought. How can anybody find that entertaining or funny? He seems like an all right guy although I don't know much about him. I can't see anything special about him in the ring, maybe other people can. I will wait until he's not facing knock over jobs. Spain mustn't care that much about boxing if that guy was their national champion. Sam Sexton looks like Evander Holyfield in comparison. One thing is for sure, he is much better than the likes of David Adeleye.
He's going to leave SJAM and sign with Probellum. Might appear on Sam Jones's cards then with Florian Marku rather than Matchroom shows.
Too early to tell at present unless you're Campbell Hatton and already looking poor against journeymen. It will be interesting to see how Fisher handles it as he goes up in levels (no rush, very young and doesn't have amateur experience).
I think Fisher looked good but it´s still early days. I ve heard lot´s of good things about him in sparring, so maybe a future british heavyweight star ?
As it has been mentioned, it is hard to judge his potential at this stage, as he has had very little amateur experience, and as expected is fighting very low level opponents. My gut feeling is the boy will have a very good career. Seems hard working level headed, and i can see improvements. In this fight his footwork and faints improved. I think such improvements are are a good sign. Problem will be holding him back for long with a big support as pressure will be put on him to move faster than he should.
One might well fear that Matchroom will lead him too fast forward and it would be a shame because I think Fisher have the potential to become something.
