    That just isn't true GCC.

I am not trying to be cruel but you are wrong and a lot of what you are saying is kinda gibberish "Raw power"

Watch how Joe Louis moves everything he does is so intentional I'd start there to understand it.

Yes, let's talk about Joe Louis.

Do you think his punching mechanics were exactly the same as Foreman, yes or no?

I have a feeling you are getting upset.

Stop digging a hole because you are stubborn.

No, his mechanics were better and Foreman would have benefitted learning how to throw punches the right way.

You can punch hard without punching properly you just don't maximise your potential the further you get away from correct mechanics.

I'm not digging a hole or getting upset.

Stop trying to play Dr. Phil.

Thanks, now we're finally getting somewhere. Louis was a fluid explosive puncher. Foreman was a clubbing puncher who often threw arm punches. Their mechanics and delivery systems were completely different. I'm glad you admit it now.

At no point was I trying to suggest Foreman's system was "better" or that he couldn't improve on it. I was simply stating that the mechanics and delivery system of explosive and clubbing arm power were different, which is the opposite of what you initially claimed (that the mechanics and delivery are the same besides the floor).

I never denied it. If you want power and speed you punch properly when did I say any differently?

Foreman was not an arm puncher? Again a lot of what you have written is you responding to stuff I haven't said and borderline gibberish AGAIN. I think you need to revaluate yourself you seem a bit petty over something you obviously don't know much about just live and learn.

"Explosive and clubbing Arm power" I don't mind saying this because you have been nothing but ignorant and rude but how have you posted so long and learned so little about punching? It's taught day one if you ever boxed (Say what you want you obviously haven't) how to produce concussive force.

I think I have dusted my hands with you well enough now.

    This is what you wrote

    I said this was false.

Now you're saying you never denied it.

I have said about 5x now the mechanics for arm punching and explosive punching were very different. If you agree then why did you keep saying they're the same?

The Louis vs Foreman example was an attempt to get straight to the point. And yet you're still going back and forth. I literally called Foreman an arm punches multiple times and you respond with "Foreman was not an arm puncher?". Are you even reading what I wrote at all???

I don't know much about power? I never boxed? How much do you want to bet I punch harder than you? I will even upload a video and you can upload one since you seem to know so much about me. Then people can decide for themselves.

How am I being rude? You are the one attempting to psychoanalyze me. You're the one creating straw man arguments and then accusing me of responding to things you didn't say (Talk about projection). I even asked you to clarify your position for me and did not insult you. Does that sound like someone who is being rude and trying to cause problems?

    "Woosh"

Go ahead upload your video. Show me the difference between "raw power and fluid punching" :eaea:

Let's just cut out all the rest.

The mechanics for speed and power are the same my point was if you want to maximise both you punch properly that's it.

Lets address nonsense number one when did I say the mechanics for arm punching and "explosive punching" are the same you ****ing moron lol. Um also I said Foreman wasn't an arm puncher you said he was if I read correctly?

That's not what I suggested. The challenge was not for me to demonstrate the difference between raw power and explosive punching. The challenge was for you to compare your power to mine and let the forum decide which of us knows what we're talking about since you claim I've "never boxed" and don't know anything about power. So I take it you're backing off now after making such bold claims?

I said the mechanics for arm punching and explosive punching were not the same. You said
    Then you said

So you've gone back and forth about 4x now.

You are either a habitual liar or a complete moron who forgets what he says within minutes.

No they're not. For the 7th time now, if by "power" you mean arm punching and by speed you mean fluid explosive punching, no, the mechanics are not the same. At all. No one with an ounce of boxing knowledge would agree with you.

If this is NOT what you mean, then CLARIFY what you mean by speed and power so there is no confusion.

So you think that I need to dox myself in order to prove something to an internet stranger who obviously knows nothing? "Foreman was an arm puncher"

Post your video if it's not big deal to you, Go ahead or was your safety net me having common sense babe?

What's even funnier Is I never said I would upload a video and you know that so stop being a tosser because you issued a "challange" now you are really showing off your low IQ.

Also  Who is to say I am not a Flyweight? Or If I am the size of Nikolia Valuev what would it prove then?

Okay you are tying yourself up in nots trying to understand let me help you.

Power and speed are both maximized by punching correctly.

You cannot produce a lot of either speed or power with an arm punch, you must shift your weight from one foot to another what you are saying goes against a very basic understanding of punching there is no "clubbing arm power" LOL

Foreman shifted his weight and so did Louis do you understand? Louis was faster because he punched properly you can punch hard and you can punch fast in a number of ways but it is all reliant on shifting weight from one foot to another and getting the most out of your speed or power is found with the right mechanics something you don't seem to understand lol.

Also your last point talking about arm punching again wtf are you on about? show me where I said the mechanics are the same **** me arm punching is not an example of power what are you even smoking? "explosive punching" is just correct form that effortless style we see Inoue performing with that is correct punching that is what I am trying to explain to you, you cannot isolate one or the other power and speed are one in the same with the correct mechanics. To produce power you produce speed that is what I meant by them having the same mechanics are you so soft in the head that I need to spell everything out to you like a child?

Pathetic you were more of a explosive puncher, I have way more raw clubbing arm power!

    Duh

Never said that this wasn't the case.

I never, ever, not once in this entire ****ing thread said that you can get the most out of your punches without putting some weight into them.

Sometimes Foreman did, sometimes he didn't.

The point still stands, the mechanics of an arm puncher are different from an explosive puncher. We both agree on this so I don't get why you insist on nit picking and creating straw man arguments to challenge.

You haven't said anything that anyone whose boxed for more than a week doesn't already know. Of course Louis punches faster because of his proper form. That's obvious.

Do you disagree with the idea that some boxers arm punch? Is that where this squabble is coming from?

Do Foreman's punches look like they have lot of speed behind them?

Take all the time you need.

I haven't been following all of this argument on either side. So I don't know who is arguing what.

But I do think that Foreman threw arm punches more often than most other great heavyweights.

He seemed to get away with it because he was such a hard hitter that even his arm punches were harder than their poor technique gave them any right to be.

    Just my $0.02, FWIW.
