No chance whyte will get 45% of the split for this but it will be a career high purse.if the fight can't get made it's a shambles regardless what side is acting up.
I think if it got to pursebids Fury would front it and not be put off by it being a Matchroom show. I know Fury does actually have some respect for Hearn. He just knows its a business and Hearn is in the AJ game. Iactually in a strange way think that Fury and Hearn would have been a match made in heaven. The amount of wind ups at press conferences and interviews would have been mental. The bit in question is whether Fury fights Whyte in the first place. He will either decide to fight him or vacate. I think if he decides to fight him, he will not care providing the deal is done and he gets paid

I think there's mutual respect there really. The interview Hearn did with Fury for his podcast was quite revealing. It's a shame Fury is in the same era as AJ from that point of view - as a marketable product obviously Joshua is a far safer and more lucrative bet so I can see why Hearn chose that side. Would've been interesting to see Hearn and Fury work together though, especially if Hearn was doing so with Fury's best interests at heart and not trying to make him shop-worn or trip him up before fighting Joshua. I think it's possible when Fury retires the pair will do a speaking engagement tour together - perhaps with Hearn as the host.
I think Fury, when he's in a relaxed mood, can get on well and have a laugh with anyone. Hearn is a good salesman (with the right resources and leads, at least!) so I think most will respect him for that, but on the other hand there is so much to dislike about Hearn and not all of it is superficial stuff like thinking his jokes are crap or whatever. Hearn has good and bad aspects (like most), but to someone who isn't easily mollycoddled like the PPV mugs, they will see right through a lot of Hearn's nonsense. Saying that, a world without Joshua would see Fury as his biggest asset. Hearn says he works for Joshua, Joshua is the boss etc. You might be right and it might work. After all, in among Fury's top level bouts he does like to beat up puddings and Hearn would do a better job of marketing these puddings and making the mugs think that they are "top 10" or any good.
Whyte isn't this gung-ho front foot fighter who puts it on his opponents anymore. He used to be like that a few years ago. After several wars (and scraping past opponents in the process) he now tries to conserve his energy because he knows he gasses. He hasn't rushed his work for years and instead trying to control the fight behind his jab. I would genuinely love to hear how you think he beats Fury who is huge compared to him. Whyte is about 6 foot tall and a plodder. He would also be a stone or two lighter than Fury. You push this narrative that Fury will duck him when he's been in with Klitschko and Wilder who are monsters compared to Whyte. I just don't get it. Please tell me what I'm missing with Whyte, what does he bring to the table that Fury can't handle?
Fury hasn't fought anyones Whyte's quality in over 5 years since Wald ( Whyte won't be physically pushed about like Wilder, has knock power, probably the best left hook in divison, a good jab and goes effectively to body more than any other in divison). As I said before from what we have seen of Fury since coming out of retirement he looks no where near the level he was in his short prime. Fury certainly looks poorer defensively including being more open, slower footwork and less of head movement. Could of said this due to him opdoting an more offensive style since being coach by Sugar Hill. You could also say you that Sugar identifed that Wilder can't box on the back foot at all and has a glass chin as well recognising Fury isn't as elusive as he was so has to adopt a more offensive approach.
As much as I'd like to see Fury leather Whyte, I hope he denies him the pay day and fights a real fighting man like Joe Joyce!
Be a short fight either way due to open the pair are, how much power they carry, bith questionable gas tanks and both previous of being dropped. I would heavily favour Whyte to win though as he has much less flaws and is a much more complete fighter (with obviously a superior resume).
Your right about Hearn promotong opponents. Remember him telling everyone Parker, Pulev and Povetkin were all the 3rd best heavyweight in the world when fighting AJ lol.
Hearn said Pulev was top 10 not 3 which according to Ring Magazine he was. Also both Parker and Povetking were rank 3 at the time with Ring. Not that I use Ring Magazine as a "Bible" as there is plenty in their rankings I certainly disagree with (Wilder top 5, Ortiz and Rivas currently in the top 10).
