Best and worst of their Champs iyo?
    From 1989 to 2016?
Top three, got to be the K Bros and Riddick Bowe.
Then there s a long list all the way to Michael Bentt!

Probably after them I would say Chris Byrd, Corrie Sanders, and Ray Mercer were the next best WBO belt holders.

Some of the names may not have been the greatest, but there were some definitely decent ones in there.
The three u mentioned are excellent choices.

    Morrison would rate below Bentt.

Probably not, despite the outcome of their actual fight.

I don't see that actually. I know he kod him but that was it. That was his biggest win. And in another ten fights between em I'd say Tommy would win the majority.

The only WBO HW title fights I remember when it was strictly just for the WBO title that kicked a&& were Morrison/Mercer and Moorer/Cooper.

But yes Riddick Bowe was probably their best Champion.

These days the fighter pretty much defines the belt.

Thing is, some of the WBO champs weren’t even heavyweights, they were badgerweights. At least according to the WBC.

    (I’ll shut up now.)

No. Bentt beating Morrison alone doesn’t make a strong enough case for him ranking higher. He had too few fights and didn’t beat anyone else

Francesco Damiani was the first WBO champ at heavy and while he wasn’t one of the top ones he was actually a pretty decent fighter

    Has Fury held the WBO?

I can remember that. Being a world champ at the same time has Tyson had the other belts, made Damiani look like a guy standing next to Elvis and trying to sing Suspicious Minds better!
But he wasn't the worst, I didn't belive either.
Wasn't he on his way to beating Mercer?

If memory serves, he was beating Mercer handily until Mercer threw an awkward but powerful uppercut that broke Damiani’s nose and put him out of the fight.
