He should have the title above his avatar, 'The Single Worst Poster on ESB', its his superhuman levels of consistency that won it, the sheer rapid fire nature of the crap he talks.

 

Its a talent he was born with; you just can't learn that kind stuff, its natural...like Joe Louis' power. What a guy!

 

Tyszu is his prime was an awesome fighter, but he never again wanted anything to do with Phillips, and that will always hurt his legacy, as most boxing fans will agree. True elite almost always desire to go after a rematch with fighters who knock them TFO. I always liked Tyszu but facts are facts. Also I don't really count the MMA match he had with Hatton at the end of his career. He wasn't nearly as dangerous at that point anyway due to lack of activity and the fact that he never had a style suited for MMA the way Hatton did/does.

 

Did Phillips want the re-match ? It's usually the winner who gives the re-match no ?

 

The fact remains that he had one win over a prime, elite fighter.

Phillips was DESPERATE for a rematch.

If only to prove that his win wasn't a fluke.

He fought the fight of his life, and all credit to him. When you look at his career, you just think what he could have been.

It was for a while. Many here said Tszyu was overrated due to the Phillips loss. Might not surprise you, but many were mayweather fanboys. Guys who don't even post, or likely, follow boxing anymore now floyd is gone.
