Eddie is trimming down, he has to pay AJ, Whyte, now Benn, Campbell Hatton and Shannon Courtenay "the money they are worth"

"Money they are worth" in Hearns world and imagination.

So Hearn can't be wasting money on fighters that he doesn't constantly rim and polish off.


The fact Hearn didn't sign Avanesyan but still has Shannon Courtenay on the books tells you all you need to know about Matchroom and Hearn and the smoke and mirrors all this is.


Anyway, Hearn wouldn't shut up about Jonas Vs Taylor and how it was the best women's fight he's ever seen, the rematch will happen and it will be big.. then he thought about it, didn't want to risk Taylor again who is starting to slide.

Just like Hearn didn't want to sign Avanesyan because the Benn conversations wouldn't go away and still haven't but it's easier to dismiss them now Avanesyan has signed with a rival.

Hearn has done this quite a lot, he has done similar before..

Hearn did it with Luis Ortiz, signed him for a couple of fights when talk of AJ Vs Ortiz was everywhere and then sort of sidelined Ortiz, then eventually binned him off and it was never spoken about again until Ortiz looked his age.. 87

 

Jonas had a signed contract for the Taylor rematch. Then decided she wanted a tune up. Then wanted to be paid world title money to fight a girl who is 1-10.

then chucked the contract for the Taylor rematch in the bin to take easy fights on boxxer

Based on the public breakdown between Joe Gallagher and Eddie Hearn, it wouldn't be surprising to see his other fighters heading to Boxxer too.

Popped onto Shannon's instagram to see if there's any more cringy posts about Mental Elf.

Looks like she's deleted her post where she congratulates the woman she lost to and retracted on her post fight comments about how she thought she won.

Mental Elf problems must be at play here.

 

Maybe that's it..she'll get well paid and not have to fight anyone who can tip the boat over.

 

Shanny will regain the Mental Elf title from Tyson Fury then unify it against Anthony Joshua PPV who is suffering from his own lack of self awareness issues.

 

Hopefully this means Kugan will finally turn on the comments on Courtenay's videos.

Ortiz whilst with MR turned down the chance to fight Whyte and looked poor in boring fights against Scott and Allen. Ortiz did himself no favours with MR and didn't deserve a a shot. When Ortiz was offered his career high purse to step for Miller to fight AJ (after publicy claiming he would be willing) he turned it down.
