I don’t think it’ll be on PPV. It’s rumoured for December and Adam Smith said no Sky PPV this year. Love the fight and if it’s on December 11th it’ll sh*t all over the DAZN show that night.
Think Eubank will do a Blackwell/O’Sullivan type job on Williams (I’m referring to the fights and not anything else). A battering. I expect loads here to back Williams but I don’t see it. Williams is limited and the two fights against Smith showed that.
I see the fight the same. Actually hoping to get around 4/6 Eubank with the bookies such as the chances people give Williams. If I see 4/6 or longer ill be unloading the wheelbarrow
Great fight, might have to get tickets for this. I’d fancy Eubank but Williams is a good fighter and it could be a war.
Williams to win this. They’ve both lost to the good fighters they’ve fought but Williams gave far better showings. Let’s not forget he nearly kod Andrade once or twice. Looking back that was bizarre as Williams just seemed oblivious to the state his legs were in.
Eubank is very limited people seem to massivly overate him for some reason. This is a very close fight
Good fight, should be one where the styles gel perfectly and hopefully get a 12 round war. Not PPV worthy though, so hopefully normal sky.
Of course he is. But he’s also boxed at a far higher level than Williams and he has better wins on his record. Williams was totally out fought against Smith in their rematch and totally outboxed against Andrade. He was totally out of his depth in the latter. Sure Eubank was outboxed against a past his prime Groves but that Groves would have knocked Williams out. To give credit to Eubank he was operating at SMW at a massive size disadvantage but still hung in there. Eubank has beaten former world champions no matter whether they were past their respective bests. He’s simply operated at a higher level with more success than Williams. Also Williams is a bit of a loose cannon I could easily see him losing discipline and being sucked into a brawl with Eubank which is only ending one way. I actually preferred Williams under Gary Lockett and don’t think he has improved much under Ingle.
This should provide a good test for Eubank Jr, one that I expect him to overcome. I will be interested to see if he maintains the Roy Jones style (without the great footwork) or he reverts to type and engages in a brawl at close range. He still hasn’t proven able to get past a decent jab. He rushes in leaving himself open as was proven against Groves where he was dropped twice and soundly beaten. I much prefer Eubank Jr as the volume puncher at close and mid range than I do the new Roy Jonrs version. That style doesn’t suit him as he doesn’t have the footwork, boxing brain or reflexes to pull it off.
