Anyone else looking forward to their Super Lightweights version of Prize Fighter? I am as the fights will be fast, furious and probably more 50/50 than recent cards put on this year. I am still seething years later on how Sean "Masher" Dodds was robbed twice v Scotty Cardle in their British Title fights. Based upon this, I am rooting for him despite his age, etc. Should be a decent fun Saturday night of boxing.
I am I am not too familiar with all the fighters on the night but the format interests me With such short fights feel outs are not gonna happen and its gonna be shoot outs rather
I’m looking forward to it. I was going to get tickets but I’ve recently sold my sole for a crazy shift job for the dough and 8 days off every three weeks. I love Masher, best thing out of Birkenhead since that sexy, old judge on strictly. I am also still pissed off about the Cardle fights haha I was delighted when Ricky Burns made him fall like an old tree. If Dodd gets Tom Farrell it should be interesting as Masher beat him on a cut a few years ago if I remember right. It’d be good to see Farrell get some good fights he was brave in his beating against Davies too.
I love these tornoment style nights and we should see them more often. 3 round wars guaranteed all night no messing just throwing leather in the pocket. All action excitement from the opening bell.
Beats typical televised shows watching Campbell hatton and Shannon courtenay in nothing fights again 3-20 opponents . Enjoyed that first scrap
