GGG puts him on the canvas once but Froch was a blood and guts warrior. Froch sees the final bell and loses 116-112 type fight.
Anyone who thinks ggg kos a warrior like froch doesn't know **** about boxing. Lesser fighters than froch went 12 with ggg.
Pimple is full of ggg hate he might pop...it fitting he backs Froch ...at least Froch was honest about his limitations ...
Ggg is an accumulation puncher he's not stopping froch. He's too slow and easy to hit. Ggg never beat anyone as good as froch
GGG's best opponent was Canelo, who he beat past his prime at 160. Froch's beat opponent was Ward who he lost to 8/4 ish in a competive bout, at least IMO, at 168. Both had granite chins. Both not fast either hands or feet. Froch naturally bigger. GGG more technical. Froch's level of comp was much better though.
GGG, Froch was too honest and loved a tear up. I don't see him being able to hurt GGG enough and would burn out.
Froch wasn't fast but he had an awkward style where he fought many times with his hands down. He wasn't textbook but effective. That's what I meant.
Puzzled me why Froch chose the alias "The Cobra" ,as you say he's not particularly fast , tough but not fast...
i've always wondered why froch gets a lot of love on this forum but not kessler. they were very evenly matched, they were both the best of the rest at SMW, both heavy handed but not technical fighters. i know there's a lot of brits on here, but you just don't see kessler's name come up near as often.
Like who? Jacobs? Better than Froch. Canelo? 10 levels above Froch. Froch got schooled as soon as he fought a proper elite fighter. He was getting easily outboxed by Groves in both fights but sadly Groves isn't known for his chin or gas tank. GGG would embarrass him, if Groves was able to drop him, GGG could as well. GGG would drop Froch 6/10 times, he probably wouldn't be able to finish him but he'd win a comfy decision I think Froch is very overrated and he got through his career on pure heart and determination.
