It's certainly not just about skills.

I love Crawford but the idea he could be ranked higher p4p than Canelo is ridiculous.

Excellent defense but no offense… just Peppering with the jab and shoulder Rolling all night won't win you a fight.. he's Malignaggi of SMW.. imagine any skilful SMW in history who can fight a bit in there with Canelo tonight… Overrated juice job looked like garbage against the Mayweather whipping boy.. Plant with a bit more experience & output could've got the job done there

Canelo is so good, man. Doesn't matter the size of the opponent, the style ... he just fights his fight and wins.

Why not? Canelo strives on fighting the best. This is a 140 pounder moving up to fight the best. You would only wish GGG would do something of this caliber.

Crawford may have more talent, but he's having his first serious fight in a long time.

Canelo is accomplishing more with the talent that he has than anyone besides perhaps Usyk.

Usyk, Loma, Inoue, and Crawford would completely outclass Clenelo and I'm being deadly serious. Josh Taylor and Teofimo beat him clearly too, if they were remotely close to being the same size of course. Loma could give away 15 pounds at the very least and not lose a round

Depends if the likes of Beterbiev can hurt him. I’m sure that Canelo can get hurt at LHW. Even a guy like Callum Johnson if he landed flush on Canelo would hurt him.

That first knock down , it looked like the same uppercut that stopped Saunders.

Well pretty much as what I predicted:-

+ Plant didn't have enough pop to get Canelo's respect
+ Hadn't fought at this level enough before to avoid getting caught enough
+ Didn't work hard enough and throw in volume to disrupt Canelo's rythym

I predicted late stoppage - but went with round 10 - close but no cigar.

I would say Plant is a bit better than I thought, but his defence needed to be levels above what it was, and he needed to let his hands go.

FWIW, I didn't see anything that totally blew me away about Canelo - he now has a methodically 'breakdown' approach, but I can't see how that would work against the best @168 - let alone Zags or Ward, still not sure ginge beats Kessler or Froch.

Can't see him walking through Beterbiev or Bivol with that performance (although think he has better chance with Bivol who might be suspect to the body)

Bivol will start good but Canelo would adjust and beat him too.

Canelo has no answer for Bivols masterful Jab.
