His beard seems okay considering he took Joe Smith Jr's best punch(overhand right) and although his legs buckled he carried on for another few rounds. Good post and refreshing to see someone not writing him off.

Loving it. Hopefully Joshua losing and Canelo going solo has humbled him.

Yes Bivol may have a good jab, other fighters have got terrific attributes too BUT against Alvarez it’s simply not possible to apply them. He’s a machine who just walks everything and everyone down, nullifies every attack, mentally and physically drains every man in front of him.

Hmm maybe. But I just want to see Beterbiev ragdoll him and beat 7 shades of sh*t out of him.

The first 4-5 rounds were very close or Plant favored as a whole, round 5/6 was when the tide turned.

Fast Eddie hopefully will have learned a lot. Imagine if Price beat Usyk? Honestly I would give him more chance than AJ based on how he performed. At least Price could go full slugger mode.

totally agree...when Canelo will feel the power, the constant pressure, and the stamina couple with an iron chin...he would think; what a monster he is,i never face sunch a man like him before...

Fair enough, Beterbiev is a monster. The difference in power from SMW to LHW has to be one of the biggest jumps in all of boxing. I mean look at Callum Smith, he went from looking frail at SMW to being a monster at LHW.

Yeah, you're right. I just wanted to say I gave Plant at least one round, but I really do think Canelo won rd1 as well.

Yet they still invited him to Vegas. Funny that.

Canelo is a free agent and will fight wherever suits him fight by fight.

I coulndt agree more with you

His footwork has improved a freaking lot, though. it's 1000x better than his footwork when he fought mayweather. But still not enough, his issues with the philly are too big as we saw tonight, mayweather is no caleb.

Great respect from both fighters at the end. Plant only made one " mistake" that he didnt make canelo respect his power. There was no danger for canelo there, he knew he could handle his power. But hey many guys been there. Its something missing everytime. You could have all the boxing skills like plant or saunders but without real power hes gonna catch up to you cause hes got first of all, good defence and a great chin to fall back on. Im not on the beterbiev hype train. I think he gets crushed too. Benavidez could make it a real fight though in my view
