LMAO...so only Canelo was missing huh and only head punches are scoring punches to you too it seems. Landing the occasional jabs will not win you the fight. Canelo battered that body that lead to Plant protecting the body , which lead to him getting stopped. Also if Canelo was missing , who was the third person in the ring that busted up Plant's face and body?
yes, it's amazing, you read those comments and it seems that what happened is that caleb had a heart attack.
7 - 3 Canelo. Tbh I thought I was being generous to Plant, Canelo was applying effective pressure throughout Nd ripping into that body. Can't see how it can be scored much closer.
He was not. You act like from round 1 he imposed a MiKe MCcallum type of body attack and he didn't. He landed a great punch but he wasn't "setting" it up to land it. Plant got caught and Canelo finished him like he should have.
I gave him 2 with a possible 3rd but the writing was on the wall by the 4th/5th round. Only a matter of time.
Plant won the early rnds in my scoring. After that he was pretty much throwing punches to keep Canelo of him and occasionally landing. To say Canelo doesn't throw power hook to the body to open the head punches, shows your lack of boxing knowledge. Hell , that is signature Canelo. But to you, it is now its Plant got caught. In other word you are saying Canelo landed a luck punch. Pretty much my last response to someone who clearly hates Canelo or don't know **** about boxing.
96-94 Canelo. I feel like if I were allowing for even rounds, it would be something like Canelo 98-95, though.
Canelo was in a close fight and was having problems with Plant. In round 11 he caught Plant with a good punch and then finished Plant off correct? Hook to the HEAD. So learn to watch boxing before you spout of at the mouth. At no point was Plant in trouble from a "sustained body assault". It was a LEAD left hook to the head that started Plants downfall. And he was walking in to Plant as he threw it.
Anyone giving Plant more than 2 rounds is really stretching it. I gave Plant the first and I believe the 9th, but a case can be made that the 9th may have even been Canelo's. Plant is a good fighter, but Canelo is in his prime and at another level.
