Is a middleweight against a light heavyweight a good match to make? LOL! Also wtf is with all the mismatches on this forum recently?
Everyone expects Canelo who is smaller than GGG to fight Bivol. Yet when its GGG, he becomes too small for Bivol
Bull****. The size is by no means that big of a stretch and especially for a purported ATG. Have you really only been here for a couple of months? You can find so many posts over the years that talk about how strong GGG is and how he hits like a cruiser or heavyweight and hearsay from sparring partners and foes from the ams, etc, ad nauseam. Bivol is not one of the big LHWs. Make the fight at 168.
So that's your motivation for the thread, to defend Canelo from a possible Bivol fight. Threads like these scream out insecurity to me and makes me believe that Canelo fans aren't 100% convinced that he should have won that decision against GGG. Gennady is nearing the end of his career and almost 40, yet he lives rent free inside the head of every single casual Canelo lover. But to answer your stupid question, if Canelos is fighting Kovalev at 175 and for a light heavyweight belt, then he should defend that belt against another light heavyweight champion, or move down and stay the f away from light heavyweight. It's not difficult.
Yes, I used other forums and websites before, and I've never been much of a GGG fan (or Canelo for that matter either so no bias either way) so you'll never find me talking about how GGG could have moved up and knocked out cruisers or whatever. I've seen that kind of talk on other places and that talk was always kind of dumb to me. Anyway, especially considering GGG's advanced age now, Bivol decisions him and it won't be particularly close
Im not defending Canelo from fighting Bivol. I am asking why people want to see Canelo who is smaller than GGG fight Bivol but GGG vs Bivol seems crazy. Not sure where you get the rest of your BS post from. The post, the question is GGG vs Bivol and when people say GGG is to small I ask why they demand to see Canelo vs Bivol.
I'll make it very easy for you. GGG fights at 160, nowhere else. Canelo has belts at 160, 168 and 175. It's not unreasonable to expect two people who hold a belt in the same weight class to fight each other. Why is it that you casual ginger fanboys are always so misinformed, ignorant and slow?
Maybe. Maybe he gets rolled over. GGG is fearsome when he starts beating you up, but his chances would have been better a couple or three years ago no doubt. But that's on him.
So Canelos first fight weight was 139 and moved all the way to 175. Like i said this post is about GGG vs Bivol and he cant move up to fight Bivol at his natural weight? GGG was always scared of tough opposition and IS BIGGER THAN CANELO! Since you dont answer the main post question, be gone.
Do you really believe that GGG on fight night outweighs Canelo?? Give GGG some clenbuterol and let the WBC turn a blind eye to it, and then I'll agree with you that he should move up.
