All that mate plus it is 60 seconds and more behind the live action - this is another eleven sports UK which should have a similar quick death with very little live action to watch. The only future for DAZN UK is the takeover of BT Sports and if that fails then DAZN UK will not be a success. It really is out of sight, out of mind for the general public.
Actually not bad. Buatsi vs Maxim Vlasov chief support which is actually a tough test for him. Lerrone Richards in a tough fight too.
I just saw an interview with Eddie Hearn where he told that 2021 has been incredible for DAZN and 2022 will be even better. The DAZN numbers in the UK are fantastic, so there are obviously many who are subscribing.
Saw him saying Matchroom have by far the best stable in boxing. Who do they even have? Joshua, Whyte, Golovkin and Estrada? Top Rank have Inoue, Lomachenko, Lopez, Taylor, Fury, Beterbiev, Crawford, Valdez, Shakur etc. PBC have Spence, Charlo x2, Tank, Benavidez.
For some reason I think Eddie counts Canelo as being part of his team even though he’s a free agent and his last fight wasn’t on DAZN.
If you remove AJ and look at the rest of the Eddie Hearn / Matchroom stable, then it's not really that strong. Is Dillian Whyte not freelance or is he tied up by Matchroom for the rest of his life ? On the world stage, Top Rank is clearly number 1.
Theres actually someone who just contacted me and wrote that he thinks I'm too critical of Eddie Hearn. He made me understand that there is a very hard pressure on Eddie Hearn to constantly deliver great fights to DAZN. I fully understand that and I seriously do not think it is particularly fun to be in Eddie Hearn's shoes right now, but he has chosen it himself. Eddie Hearn made a huge mistake when he left Sky.
My issue with DAZN so far is that there has generally been a lack of quality considering the hype to a lesser extent the cost. There seems to be no or little middle ground so far at least. It goes from brilliant (smith vs fowler card) and very good (main Dec card) to absolutely awful, shockingly bad (Nov Kid Galahad card) and the October card which Whyte vs Wallin was intended for. The Leeds card with Josh Warrington on it was good too, but sadly spoiled by the farce that the main event turned into. This new addition for Dec 11 also looks poor. Two meaningless fights at the top of the bill, with little to no uncertainty in the result. I'm hoping for a better 2022.
Summed up perfectly. The odds on the 2 main events will be atrocious. Not one boxer in their Hometown neither so atmosphere will be dead. Builds him up to be the next PPV star and then hands us this fight. December 11th will be a one sided viewing figures if this eubank fight ever gets announced
Eh Day Earn says - just visualise a huge shyte coming out of his mouth then you will see and hear reality. The man is a scammer and every statement he makes is to either set up/sell Box Office fights or sell a turd fight to the public. The latest being the huge 'step up fight' for Conman Benn.
I have no idea. The email I received cannot be traced, but I live fine with it. Eddie Hearn has an army of fans who probably feel sorry for him...
