I think Tommy Fury is in big trouble against Jake Paul.

In the latter part of the video you can see that Tyson is trying to implement his style on Paul. Tommy looks like a raw novice here, he is so stiff and clearly uncomfortable. It’s not like Tommy has a particular “style” anyway because he is really crude and didn’t look like he had a gameplan at all in his last fight where he had a ridiculous size advantage. But it’s foolhardy for him to train for a new style a month from the fight.

He won’t have any size advantages against Jake Paul and if he can’t hurt him with his punches he is genuinely in trouble.

I had a feeling before that this was a definitive 50/50 fight perhaps stacked slightly in Jake’s favour as the home fighter but looking at this I’m pretty sure Tommy is going to disgrace his family name.

I also think there’s a chance Tommy will just withdraw from the fight altogether in the next few weeks to avoid any sort of embarrassment. He can take comfort in the fact that his father did the same and shat it from Big Mick Theo.

It’s a tough fight to call.

Even with his stiff upright stance the eye test says Tommy will outbox Paul, but has he ever been chin checked?

Paul looks to have more power, so who knows what will happen if he lands some meaningful shots.

Mate Tommy fury is basically a novice no matter what he says all this fighting man bollocks . I think your spot on I reckon Paul probably spent more time perfecting his craft in the last three years than fury has since he starting boxing.

Think Tommy is showing his real ambition in life and it’s not to be a world champion boxer . He is a part time boxer who is now a celebrity

I think Paul has definitely spent more time in the gym / boxing ring than Tommy and he’s definitely got more experience. They might be smaller or whatever but the likes of Woodley is a fighter and poses a threat. Nothing Tommy has faced has ever posed a threat, made him think, hit him back - and he’s still struggled! Paul just needs to sort his fitness out and he will win a wide points decision.

I genuinely don't know what to make of this fight, I really can't pick a winner, I don't really know how good Tommy is, he's looked pretty average so far (and that's being rather generous).

Jake didn't exactly look good against Woodley and he hasn't fought a real boxer yet.. is Tommy a real boxer? We will find out.

But I'll watch it, it's going to be hilarious, the Furys and the Paul's are not exactly timid, I'll be watching build up for the guaranteed trolling and crap talking and the fight night itself will just be crazy.

Tommy has got the personality of a plank of wood. It wouldn’t surprise me if it was in his contract that Tyson had to be there to provide the entertainment.

Tommy really is a novice. They keep saying that he’s been fighting all of his life, but that truly is bollocks. Tommy had very limited amateur experience, he had a few as a junior but never boxed as a senior. He never won a single amateur title either.

When Tyson Fury went pro - he was already well known. He had a lot of hype behind him, and very quickly got a lot of publicity. Tommy was 9 when Tyson went pro - and was still in high school when Tyson started earning good money (he was 16 when Tyson beat Klitschko) and that’s what turned Tommy into a fringe celebrity. I imagine that Tommy has had less than 20 fights total, amateur and pro.

Good cash out fight for Tommy. He won't earn this sort of cash from boxing in any other way.

Thought Sugar Hill was getting involved in this ? Or is it Tyson doing the training now ?

Been getting stick from mates and work colleagues for saying Paul beats Fury by decision. It's happening though.

I don't really care about this fight if I'm honest, might watch it if I've got nothing better to do. I'm not as sold on Paul as most on here, the one thing that alarms me from Paul is his engine, he faded very quickly against Woodley.

Some article before his previous fight said that he has no amateur fights

This is not true he has definitely had some amateur fights. I know this because I used to keep an eye on his Twitter account when he was 15/16 because it was so remarkable how jacked he was at that age and he and Peter Fury would tweet regularly about the amateur competitions he was boxing in.

I watched Tommy's last two fights, he doesn't half remind me of John Fury in the ring.

I think he'll fight and win at the same level as big John.

I feel sorry for Tommy. He is a shy genuine lad. He hasn't got anywhere near the confidence, brashness and bravado that Tyson Fury has. That much is evident.

Also the Paul brothers have been doing YouTube for years so they're comfortable in front of a camera.

Tommy though is being forced to behave like someone he's not. Any fool can see it. Doing that grunt in yesterday's video was embarrassing.

He should be his own man and not let anyone pile unnecessary pressure on him.
