AKA, "If we got ourselves here, there's got to be a way to get ourselves out."

Short of alien intervention, what would have to happen for the ABC belt system and the endless participationweight titles to gradually die off over the next fifty years? For there to be a few weight divisions with undisputed guys again?

Key countries and regions not sanctioning any fight that has an alphabet belt on the line. Those countries have a unified system of boxing rankings with 1 champion per division.

The alphabet orgs would become insignificant almost immediately

What would drive such a system to develop?

I’m serious. I have Arum in my basement we are going to broadcast his execution if they don’t meet our demands. I’ll let you in on something a man named Don is the one holding the machete. We are the Society of the red glove. We will restore unity and we will do so by any means.

Don't listen to Don, you fools! Like most revolutionaries, you've just replaced one tyrant with another!

We are all equals in the red glove society.
Undisputed we stand my brother by the grace of Joe Louis we will have our perfect world restored.

Now will you unify and conform to our regime or will you fade into lettered obscurity like the countless token champions pathing the way to boxing self destruction?

Oh. No. It's worse than I thought.

Please don't make me break out the Voight-Kampff test and start asking you questions about whether Briggs was the undisputed champ after beating Foreman. You can't be so far gone as that...

Agh! One of the worst cases I've ever encountered.

I'm holding up a picture of Muhammad Ali. How many titles do you see?

I...I'm sorry, Mrs. @Journeyman92. It looks like we'll need to operate. Our surgeon can install the regular pay-per-view box for $129.99, or the deluxe package for $239.99, which includes title fight re-ups for the WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO, NABA, OSHA, PBJ, DPRK, and Police Gazette belts, plus exclusive content from junior superbridgerweight bouts...

The association of boxing commissions in the US decided enough is enough and straight up bans them. No one will miss them and That could get the ball rolling
