His last few cards have been terrible.

The obvious is you get paid better being a kog in a money laundering machine however

100 % agree with this , how exactly do they launder the money in boxing ?

I’m imagining that the boxers wages and all the bills for the promotion are overinflated eg a fighter is getting £100000 for a fight but the accounts will show him getting £150k, therefore £50k is now clean money minus tax. As someone said earlier, if Matchroom were putting on this card we’d we very satisfied with the lineup. While I’m totally against any of the criminality involved, I’m looking forward to Probellum’s launch, it’s going to happen whether I like it or not. It’s an exciting venture for boxing fans, apparently it’s free to view and it’s putting on shows around the world. What’s not to like ?

Is it not the income that has to be inflated in order to clean money?

Yes, the extra £50k in my example is never actually paid. It's just declared for tax purposes. There's many ways to skin a cat I suppose

Also a lot of the associated stuff will be done by companies actually owned by the same people, so the 200k expense goes to a company you indirectly own

Also you have to remember nearly every boxer on the card is managed by them. So for Sonny's £250,000 they will be getting back £25,000 to £40,000 straight away

Makes no sense , if they get audited they will see the 50k never left the account.

Would depend on business law in Dubai. Given they have set up there you would guess it isn't particularly stringent
