I find Everlast products have really went downhill. Cheaply made, fall apart quickly, no hand support (yes I am using handwraps). What gloves would you recommend for hitting the heavy bag? Thanks for any replies.
I have a 6 years old pair of Boons, 12oz gloves for Thai boxing. I did everything with them, from burpee/pushups to sparrings and bag workouts. I don't use them for boxing drills or sparring since they are a little bit damaged so I don't want to bruise anyone, but they are still great for the bag. I heard also that Twins are alright, it seems that Thai gloves are much more durable. I also bought 16oz Adidas for 100euro a few years ago, they start to fall apart 2 weeks after buying them. I forgot the recipe somewhere, so I couldn't get them back. I'm still using them for sparrings, but I will never buy Adidas gloves again.
IV had a pair of 14oz paffens that have severed me well. great glove for heavy work and thay protect the hand well.
I love these Title gloves for the heavy bag: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00VAK0ICO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Easy on the hands but still get a good "pop" on the bag. Some people think they are a little heavier than 16oz due to the gel but I find them to be excellent gloves. I had been using Ringside gloves and these are better for me.
Personally I think Proforce is one of the very best brands for gloves. Sparing, bag/pad work, ect. Overall a very good brand.
I loved Starpro Combat Boxing Gloves as they come with best hand support, light in weight and ensures protection against hurt. I have chosen these premium quality Boxing gloves due to essential wrist support and adequate padding that dissipate the impact of throw.
