Amir Khan vs. Kell Brook IS ON!

This is definition of conning the fans.. Yeah it may be a fun fight given the animosity and vulnerabilities but its a joke they've delayed this fight until both are past it. We want to see prime vs prime fights ffs stop feeding us this shite.. Deserves a boycott as a statement to these promoters who let fights marinate for waaay too long

I read they agreed to a 150 pound catch weight. I am cool with this even though they are both past it I still think it will be entertaining. In their primes I favoured Brook 70/30 now I see it as genuine 50/50 the catch weight makes it a bit fairer because at 147 I would favor Khan.

I was gonna ask about the weight. Not surprised that if it's a catchweight of 150 with Khan trying to drag Brook down to WW and Brook trying to drag Khan up to 154. I doubt either one would ever give in to the others demand I don't think, that's how heated this rivalry is.

Kell Brook signing the fight means nothing. He was always game to fight Khan.

Expecting Amir to duck even at this stage of his career.

 

Honestly I’m not really even interested at this point. But it’s a good last payday for both guys and hopefully Kell’s eyes hold up.

 

Khan didn't fancy it because he considered himself world level and Brook merely domestic level. While Khan dared to be great early in his career by taking on the best Brook wasn't. When Brook did eventually dare to be great later in his career, aside from the Porter fight, he proved Khan right by failing in his biggest tests.

 

I'll watch it, Any version of Brook would eliminate any version of Khan.

 

It is a bit past its due date. But I'm sure the Btrits will get all amped up for it.

It would be nice to see Khan getting chinned again.

I fully expect Khan to pull the old "I'm the bigger name, so I should get the bigger share of the fight purse and get to choose which weight the fight takes place at" shtick that was partly responsible for the fight not happening five or six years ago.
