Yeah got awarded the super version because Geale, who beat Sturm in a unification wanted no part of GGG, So he vacated his belt. If GGG'S title Reign started there he would hold the 2nd longest middleweight reign in history with 15 defenses and 13 by KO. Which is still a great achievement.

Reads like you were impressed. I wasn't.

Geale was nondescript, even when he was at peak - let alone when he was shot.

You Gee-Gee fans make me laugh. Your penchant for attempts at making something so routine, seem dramatic, is fun to read.

    Whitaker-Chavez wasn't close.

GGG-Canelo was very close. Let's do a Rd by rd debate about it.

In the first fight i had GGG winning rounds 1,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11, and Canelo winning 3,4,12. Even though it was a very competitive fight.

I never said he was a GOAT, but he’s certainly one of the better fighters in recent times whether you like it or not.

He stopped 9 men ranked in Ring’s top 10. That’s not steamrolling? Gotcha.

He was one of the middles in the world at that time.

Weather that points to a weak middleweight era or not is up to you.
    I certainly think so.

    Proksa
    Stevens
    Lemieux
    Rubio
    Geale
    Macklin
    Monroe
    Szeremeta
    Murray

ALL TOP 10, STOPPED ALL 9 OF THEM

Put up or shut up, lol, there ya go you casual.

And if you even dare to say I’m wrong, you can just be added to my ignore button. I got better things to do than make up rankings. At least admit you were wrong when you said he didn’t wipe out a large number of ranked fighters.

Of course you do. GGG is all but forgotten because he never did anything great.

His biggest accolade is having a controversial draw against a Super Welterweight. Lol

DJ and SD also fought GGG at the later stages of his career but you don’t bring that up
