Could you hand me these two contenders of Listons era? For one, a 224 samoan tank, and then, a 208, 26-0 slickster ?

If you're talking size, Byrd and Tua were two of the smaller fighters of their own era, so this isn't as glaring a difference as if you'd asked the same question about Lennox or Rahman.

Cleveland Williams was 216 for Liston II according to Boxrec, and looked slightly thinner than Tua. Machen was 196 against Liston, and again looked like he had slightly less fat on him than Byrd. The best slugger and slickster than Liston faced weren't much different in size than the best that Ibeabuchi faced.

 

Patterson, Machen, and Folley were all better then Byrd and Tua. Although I do like the Byrd and Tua wins. If I were to compare Ike to any past fighter it would have been Liston on steroids.
