Liston’s jab had been compared to Holmes, Klitschkos and Ali’s. He’s one of the best heavyweight jabbers of all time. He moved better than most people you could think of

 

I see no reason why a prime Holmes couldn't pull off the fight that Douglas did.

But, anyway, Mike would have been a wrecking ball in any decade, the only issue would be knocking off the top few guys. If the question was would he get a title shot, the answer is an unqualified yes.
