Clottey arguably beat Cotto. Miguel Cotto...who is FARRRR better than ANYONE Usyk has EVEN COME CLOSE TO defeating. You guys are bumping this unironically, and that is a genuinely legitimate shame of epic proportions. Usyk is not faster than Clottey for his size. He is really not a HW. Against other cruisers who are actually fast, like Holyfield or Haye? He's got pretty mediocre speed. He jumps around a lot, very animated, but not actually inherently fast. He's got similar speed to Clottey who is not a mover but if you look at their hands, they're moving at similar speeds for their size. Usyk just throws more punches, but he doesn't in any way throw BETTER punches. Clottey is more skilled, and why? Because he can avoid punches without hopping around like a rabbit on speed and burning up nervous energy. Because he picks stuff off with his guard like a professional who uses a high guard. Usyk is like Pacquiao-inefficient-and woefully so, in a way that does not age well. And Clottey is more comparable to Mayweather, just flatly better and able to do more with less, as opponents go bananas.
