Sometimes fighters are never the same after a conclusive defeat, I don't Galahad will be, that was a real KO, that was no dodgy stoppage or injury.. he was lights out.

Also let's remember he did have a minute or so to recover from the first knockdown and didn't, that was brutal.

I'm not saying Galahad should retire but he should forget the likes of Navarette and the top tier fighters because he clearly isn't one.

 

I think to be a promoter, you have to believe your own bull****. It's in the job title. You can't go out and say "This kid might make Central Area level if he knuckles down" or "This isn't a great card but it's the best I could pull together for the money" or "This will likely be a one-sided 12 round snoozefest". It kind of goes against the idea of being a salesman otherwise

Yeah I agree but be somewhere in the spectrum of realistic.. I'm not saying he has to be "brutally honest" (like every Kugan video), I'm just saying don't insult my intelligence.

Just take my money, which you know you're gonna get because I'm a boxing fan and move away, don't start telling me Campbell Hatton is a future star, know what I mean?

I agree with the Campbell Hatton thing, they shouldn;t have thrown him on a PPV card. Let him learn in small hall shows. He may or may not turn out to be decent, but he's a rank novice. There's enough pressure being the son of a beloved British boxing legend without shoving him down people's throats and expecting him to perform. But to be fair, we're not buying cards because Campbell Hatton is on them, you can always go and make a brew and a sandwich while he's on.

 

Funnily enough, @Olu G. Rotimi stated that Galahad reminded him of the old school skilled boxing technicians, and then went MIA from this thread when Galahad got sparked out.

 

I don't disagree. I'm just pointing out that Rematchroom is finished. And it's not an exaggeration. AJ won't beat Usyk, Warrington won't beat Lara, Benn isn't good enough to win a world title, and the best female fighter in the stable in Savannah Marshall went off to Sky. Then we've got fighters like Shannon Courtenay, Alen Babic and co, who are absolutely useless.

How is any of that relevant to what network they are signed with? What correlation does the fighters losing have with not being on Sky?
