What a pity I was really hoping Gabriel would pull it off. It sounds as though Munguia is improving in leaps and bounds.

Good win for Munguia. He needs to improve defensively but his stock went way up tonight. Such a fun fighter to watch offensively.

Even at his current age GGG is a terrible matchup for Munguia imo

Rosado is shot after sparring all those rounds with Benavidez and I wasn't happy about him dropping back down to MW either. He sparred 80-90 rounds with Benavidez, that's like seven back to back 12 round wars with a fighter who ruins you for life in 6 or 7 rounds

Hopefully De La Hoya doesn't delude himself into thinking Munguia is ready for Golovkin, because even this version of GGG puts him in the hospital.

Ok I’m gonna clarify something. I like Mungia but in this fight I saw a few low blows and the neck stiff arm. Also seemed to look at the ref when things weren’t going his way. And I’ve always had a soft spot for Gabe I love the all balls no quit which is why I had to root for him. Mungia looks to have improved I look forward to seeing what he does next

Excellent performance by Munguia. The only thing is, he moves in straight lines back & forward, needs a little of slickness and lateral movement after throwing his combos, because he's not hard to find with right hands. If GGG cracks you with the same ones Rosado was catching him, it could be tough.
