Oh, so you're saying if you are born somewhere, you must be the ethnicity of the people generally born in that area, and that is proof? Interesting. Like, John McCain was ethnically Panamanian? I don't know if I buy this, man. I believe John McCain was more Celtic than Panamanians are. Not that Panamanians can't be Celtic but you know what I mean.
@ 11:50 of the video should answer your question. Originally from Africa, immigrated to Italy. Was an electrician in Africa before he went to Italy to learn boxing. He’s technically African by blood, but later represented Italy when he boxed. Pretty straightforward. This content is protected
So you want … a DNA test? Lol. You asked if there was any proof to support it. I gave you some that supports it. I realize Kalumbay is an old Sicilian name but still …
Was hoping more people would have insight on Ignacio and Pepe to help suss out their place in the pantheon.
Not really. I mean, John McCain was a CITIZEN of the USA, but he was not like a "Native American" by ethnicity. Not by blood, which is what I mean. Now, Italians occupied several parts of Africa, as both Italians and Romans. I mean, there's a reason why Ethiopians eat a lot of lasagna, Flo. It's not very good, but Ethiopian lasagna is still a staple. In Ethiopia. That's just a for-instance. So, how do we know that Kalamba isn't ETHNICALLY Italian, by bloodline, and not just by citizenship. Because I am not talking about flags here. I am talking about extraction. Like, when I get a bottle of almond extract to make something taste like pistachios, I know that it's just almond, which is good too, but it will TASTE LIKE pistachios to anyone who doesn't make it a habit to eat them, but likes stuff that's meant to be FLAVOURED by that one nut, when it's really almond. That is why I have my suspicions about Kalambay. Oh, don't be ridiculous, DNA test. I know McCain is dead now and that part of things is over. But we could get his daughter, whose father was John McCain, to take her own DNA test, and halve that, if that's what I was even saying to begin with.
Hey, whazzamattaYOU I said the spaghetti was just up, dangling, like a federal informant's entrails after being taken out back in the walk-in fridge the butcher's. fuhgeddaboutit
I actually got to greet John McCain once when he was speaking to a conference I was at in the D.C. area. I got a copy of his itinerary with my name and phone number on it saying exactly what minute he was pulling up to the hotel and that I would be there to greet him and escort him to the ballroom where he was speaking. But I guess Kalumbay could be ethnically anything — French, Italian, Brazilian, whatever. But you asked for supporting evidence of the idea he is not ethnically Italian and I’d say his last name and the fact that he was born in the Congo supports that notion. I didn’t offer it as definitive proof. If you want that, you’re going to have to have a DNA test.
Yo, you know me; you know I don't like to be arguing with people over the Internet or nothing but, I got one more beef now...It's bisketti. It's not a big deal or anything but listen, I would know, been eating the ish since I was like five. Alright, I agree, so, if you're as into this as I am, let's find out where Kalambay lives and see if we can get this thing done. I am tired of all of this ambiguity, Pat. We need more transparency about fighter heritage. I remember Ali with zero DNA tests trying to charm the Irish people into thinking he's Irish. This was so sleazy, man. He was like a damn governor doing that. Or a mayor. It was mayoral. Now we got this guy, this Kalambay guy, and it's like what? What is going on here? And I don't want to even talk about this with him because I loved the guy but Hagler? WTF, Marvin? What is your deal?
Didn’t Ali show up in Kinshasa and keep calling Foreman the Great White Hope? Trickeration and strategery at work.
