How does Earnie Shavers's power measure up to the power of [the other boxer who also hits hard]?

Power is difficult to accurately measure. But Jimmy young rated the guys who hit him the hardest and it went something like this :

    1. Earnie Shavers
    2. George Foreman
    3. Gerry Cooney

so I guess based on that testimony we may conclude that shavers hit harder than foreman and Cooney ? Not sure if this is what you’re asking for.

Don't worry; I'm not being serious.

But you provided an interesting, serious answer anyway.

Ah, with the brackets, it all makes sense now. NOT.

Do these brackets have certain qualifying properties like in mathematics? If so, then I would have to say that Leonard’s power can be calculated to be the inverse square of Shavers’. But that’s ONLY when measured in a vacuum lest there be any confusion on that condition.

Definitely thinks outside the box. Some might call it crazy, I call it great lateral brain movement.

I've never seen anyone damage people so bad with single shots. Yeah, harder than anyone.

This thread seems incomplete somehow without someone mentioning David Tua. There. He was mentioned. David Tua.

    I feel better now.
