He seems to not kick it up a gear when he should. As others have said he appears to be too laid back. I was pretty surprised when he was almost stopped quickly against Chisora earlier this year.

    Of all the Heavies

Only Fury and Parker have a really good shot against USYK

So don't tell me he is domestic level

If he loses the rematch to Chisora, he won't even be British domestic level. I doubt he could even win a return with Hughie Fury.

Back to fighting Junior Fa and Alex Leapai. Or becoming a full-time DJ.

SPEED is the only thing that has a chance against Usyk

The one thing that Parker has over other men his size

Parker hasn't got the edge required

He can't dig down deep inside himself

He doesn't know how to FIGHT despite being tough as nails. He always sticks to his boxing which is smart but he hasn't got a very good workrate and fades.

Happy to go a hard 12 rounds boxing as well as he can and taking whatever decision comes his way.

Chisora rematch will be rinse and repeat. Chisora going after him and Parker trying to keep him off.

Parker's mental chip is he will always fight his own fight and not try to show dominance
Chisora's mental chip is he knows no matter how hard he comes Parker will likely be in front of him for 12 rounds

So it just ends in a stalemate.

A lot of people saying he’s an underachiever, which would suggest he has elite attributes. But does he really? He’s an average height, average size, average power heavyweight. Good speed but has never really shown elite skills. What about that makes him a super talented underachiever?

Just below world level. In and around the top 10.

    He is world level

But has lacked the "mongrel" to perform at his best

Will he find this grit before he retires in 3 years?

Marginally better than gatekeeper prime Carlos Takam, whose best career result was winning 9-3 at home against an ancient, badly washed up Tony Thompson.

Top 10 at best, fringe contender

Doesn't have the minerals to become world champion again
