Shocked no one said this yet but: Davaryll "Touch of Sleep" Williamson. He could ice guys, but he's also on the receiving end of some brutal glass shattering
DAMN! never saw this one before! what caught my eye was how well he got his body behind his punches and good leverage. when did this happen in weaver's career?
at a lower level, journeymen HWs Derrick Roddy and Dave Dixon Roddy, who had fast hands and decent skills but could be knocked over by a stiff breeze, featured in some fun fights in the 90s. His wild 2 round win over Ricardo Kennedy , who was 12-1-1,- in which both were floored numerous times was one of my faves back in the day. Also, a KO of 9-1 Nelson Adams, Roddy was down twice before scoring a 4th round KO. Also had the durable contender Ahmad Abdin on the deck before being KO'd. Roddy retired 18-15, 16ko Also, Ezra Sellers..........
David Prices chin was legendary for its weakness. Frank Bruno’s wasn’t great either but his stamina wasn’t a help either. Herbie Hide he was probably fighting a division higher than he should have been but his chin certainly wasn’t good, he could hit a bit though. Audley Harrison chin was weak, but again he could when on it hit a bit. Enzo Maccarinelli was another one who could hit, but wasn’t great at taking a shot.
Good call on Courage Tshabalala. He could hit like a tank but would fold pretty quick when there was return fire.
