I’d rather see Fury v Wilder 12 than Whyte get the Fury fight after the tricks they pulled with Wallin and Rivas.
But if he drops it and they still don’t give him the **** he has no recourse. wbc shithousery at play really. Not like Whyte can trust them given their recors
Yeah because Fury hasn't played similar tricks before. Anything that will keep Fury fighting a quality opponent.
Why would they want Whyte to hold their belt even if he did somehow manage to beat Fury? They don't like how him and his team move. Sometimes you just have to toe the party line. Whyte thinking he's some kind of big dog when it comes to belt organisations is where he went wrong. He needs them more than they need him He's getting put in his place here by the WBC. It's sht I know but that's boxing.
Quite likely this legal wrangle will drag on for months. Fury will fight somebody else in march, most likely someone in the top 10 of the WBC then he will fight usyk in the summer as this will take place over the mandatory and then probably retire after beating usyk. Whyte will probably get his shot late 2022 against Joyce for the vacant title and Joyce will annilate whyte and then hopefully whyte will pack it in because he is probably the most over hyped british heavyweight ever and I'm sick of hearing how he deserves his shot blah blah , he could have had 2 world title shots by now but he didn't take them end of!!
I want to see Fury vs Whyte and hope it happens. Whyte is a relatively simple victory for Fury and it's quite funny seeing Whyte ironed out. However, I'm sick of him crying victim especially after how he's treated fighters like Wallin and Rivas. Plus, did I imagine it or did he get sparked by Povetkin? Surely you have to put together some kind of winning run to get a shot at a title.
This 100%. Whyte turned down a shot at the unified belts against AJ and went on to be KTFO by the shell of Povetkin. Both should rule him out of any mandatory considerations or the right to complain. Personally hope Fury takes a voluntary defence against a deserving challenger like Joyce.
A cynic in me would think the Whyte WBC battle is the biggest sales job ever in boxing. Whyte has made a fortune on being the bogey man, the avoided man not getting his chsnce. All nonsense. He wants to fight for a world title and has knocked back a fight for one, and a final eliminator. He is taking legal action yet again, against the governing body. The cynic in me thinks this is to push any world title fight down the road so he can keep the ppv type loot coming in, and the narrative thats been built up.
Here here. Whyte is delusional to the point he thinks he is some sort of boogeyman in the HW decision. He went 1-1 with a shell of Povetkin and has shafted Wallin. I like the fight as I see it being entertaining and it is a big fight in the UK. There are not really a wide array of options in the division at the moment.
