We are always talking about the greatest boxer's, but what about the heavyweights under H2H criteria? Give me your 10 best heavyweights, who would beat almost any other heavyweight, in their prime.
Off the top of my head, my list would look like this:
    1. Muhammad Ali
    2. George Foreman
    3. Mike Tyson
    4. Riddick Bowe
    5. Lennox Lewis
    6. Larry Holmes
    7. Tyson Fury
    8. Joe Frazier
    9. Sonny Liston
    10. Joe Louis

Duh sorry Louis was supposed to be number 5. But yeah he might have a chance at beating both, though he wouldn't be strongly favored.

    Mike Tyson
    Muhammad Ali
    Joe Louis
    Larry Holmes
    Sonny Liston
    Riddick Bowe
    Lennox Lewis

7 heaven baby! Those are the 7 that can rule through any decade.

After this it falls off quite a bit. Not sure why people place Foreman so high when a certain style gives him absolute hell and can look silly. Also Holyfield struggled mightily with fighters he had no reason struggling with.

Head 2 Head and I'm picking Foreman to destroy Lewis on paper. But overall, in the entirety of heavyweight's existence, Lewis beats more fighters than Foreman would.

I know Louis had some dangerous offense and great technique, but he also had some flaws in his game. His defense, his lack of head-movement and slow feet are the reason, why its hard for me, to give him much of a chance against guys like Lewis or Foreman.

Louis had a better chin than Lewis, and a worse chin than Foreman.

He had better defense than either.

Better defense than foreman by a country mile, but you could argue that Lewis's reach offset Louis's better defense.

His subtle head movement was probably better than either, though it had to be given his style.

His footwork was whatever he needed it to be.

He was in seek and destroy mission most of the time, but he could move if he needed to.

Dunno why Liston is considered a top 10 H2H heavyweight.
