you can’t really duck a fighter that’s not in your weigh class that’s 1st, 2nd GGG got a draw then got beat down in the rematch and hasn’t been heard from since, last how do you bash Canelo for going up in weight to fight world class fighters when GGG won’t even fight world class fighters in his OWN division

Not saying the people canelo fights have earned it but they have belts its canelos fault that benavidez was to ****ing lazy and high to make weight so lost his belt now complains somebody is avoiding him his own dumbass faults are the reason canelo could even unify without fighting him lol wtf yall are dumb at your job in real life it they are like you can go against this guy he sucks but you will get paid the same and get the same praise if not more or you can go against this guy that is pretty good but the praise won't be higher and neither will the pay why the **** would you go for the ladder lmao freaking stupid oh also if you lose to the pretty good guy your pay could go down yea yall make no sense at all smdh practice what you preach no way would you do that at your job!!!

Great post, but who would you prefer Canelo fight next? Would you prefer he stayed at SMW and defended his titles or move up? And what do you think will happen if he moves up to CW? Do you expect him to then drop back down to SMW and eventually defend the Undisputed Titles?

Canelo career is like an Hollywood movies(don't be surprise if it's already in the making) Here goes like this:the Mexicans Hero...
starting at young age fighting bums in the streets in a poor city and destined to become A LEGEND in boxing.Fighting Champions after Champions, climbing up in category's...It's writing itself!..., I should get some $ btw.

honestly I really don’t care who Canelo fights because to me it’s really no difference, can someone really tell me what makes Charlo or benavidez better than Smith or Jacobs.. for me I would prefer Berter-Bivol Charlo-Benavidez Andrade-Golovkin and Canelo takes on the winners so we can at least have a somewhat legitimate challenger. Who knows what he does after I mean I thought the Kovalev fight was crazy jumping to cruiser is nuts.. I think he moved back down… or as someone suggested earlier maybe use this as a test then unify. 175 after… Canelo is a throwback so it’s really no telling at this point… maybe Canelo Vs Uysk after he beats AJ in rematch for unified HW titles lol

This is a calculated risk that can backfire on Canelo.

Canelo vs Usyk is arguably the biggest fight in Boxing at this point. That would move the needle because many consider Usyk P4P and he's a smaller HW and a former CW. And I'm not against Canelo vs Usyk at all, I think that might be the one fight that could shut all his haters up for good lol. And before fighting Usyk (if that's his goal) it would make sense to pick up a title at Cruiserweight first to test those waters first as this would do. But this is happening way too fast for me. Because if you're planning on moving up to HW to fight Usyk, then realistically you can't expect him to drop back down to defend his SMW Titles.

Don't you think it's important for him to defend his Undisputed Titles? Carve out a legacy at SMW, then move up to CW or HW later in his career would make more sense. Jumping to Cruiser is nuts, especially now right after he became Undisputed at SMW. This Canelo guy is crazy!

First time a long Shadow11 post that I agree with almost every word. Winning titles in different weight classes, continuously winning and vacating them, jumping up and down in weight classes look flashy on paper, but dominating a weight class for years to come would eventually will help the legacy better.

Beating Makabu would be a bigger accomplishment than beating Plant, Saunders or Smith, or say snatching Joe Smith’s LHW title. But It wouldn’t be a bigger accomplishment than beating Bivol or Beterbiev, which are far difficult fights. And It definetly wouldn’t be a bigger accomplishment than getting a good number of title defences as the undisputed champion regardless of the quality of the opposition.

One thing you’re wrong though is that Canelo won’t have to bulk up for this like RJJ did to face Ruiz. If this fight happens, It’s gonna happen at 190, the new WBC cruiserweight limit. Given how Canelo looked weighing in at 175, he can easily show up in the early 180s without worrying about cutting weight. And Makabu isn’t a big cruiser so he can make 190 no problem.
