Makes plenty of sense from Canelo's realistic POV. A win over a Cruiserweight champion will enhance his legacy in a way the other challenges won't. Only real challenges he has between 168-175 are, Benavidez, Bivol, Ramirez and Beterbiev and those fights are still on the table after this fight.
