By fix, I don't just mean it's fixed in the sense you gotta knock Canelo out otherwise he wins on the scorecard (predetermined scorecards) . I'm talking about behind the doors organised sparring sessions. His fight with Kovalev was without doubt a fix/sparring session imo. And it's not just me that thinks that, even professional boxers such as Austin Trout and Badou Jack (amongst others) that have mentioned it being a fix (I can link). And for some insane reason you don't think that's the case then it was at the very least stacked to the point of totally incapacitating Kovalev (which is arguably almost as bad as being a legit organised sparring session) . This was the first fight ever where that thought (of a fight being a fix) came to mind. To make things even worse, he just pissed off from 175 after. Come on, that is suspect. I can easily envision Kovalev accepting a huge payday to fight 2 months after a fight and lay down. He's a damn alcoholic and a cheat (drug test) ffs..whys this out of the realms of possibility. Similar things can be said for the Yildrim fight. Smith was also highly suspect. Plant to a degree as well. You have these fighter just forgetting their attributes demonstrated fights before. Canelo plods forwards without the use of anything special (ie footwork or consistent use of feints). The other fighter forgets all attributes, pitty pats, let's Canelo plod, and remain static. Then Canelo just swings in looping punches.. He's not exactly making that much use or counterpunching. I guarantee what we will see if Canelo fights Makabu is a very fishy fight.
Come on we all know Makabu is getting paid off here.. he just hit the jackpot and will do as he's told
Nice to see you have a quality argument as usual Bandeedo.. Let me guess "tHeY sCarEd of the CoUnteRpooNChes"
why would i argue against emotions? whats the payoff? i just think its gutbusting funny, that someone would care this much about a boxer. its clinical, and hilarious. i mean, the avatar, the complaining about too many canelo threads...no idea what all that says?
Imagine thinking that anyone on a Canelos level, and with as much money at stake (the rest of his career), is stupid and desperate enough that they would needlessly risk a substantial ban along with possible imprisonment by trusting a literal drunk to keep his mouth shut about one of the most serious, punishable and despised crimes in sports. Ridiculous lol. Hey team... I know Im the cash cow in boxing and I can hand select anyone I want and make fat paydays, but you know... lets commit a serious federal crime so that we can fix this fight we dont need to take, and as long as the drunk doesn't talk, we'll be ok. Sound like a good idea?
It's not ridiculous in the slightest. What's ridiculous is thinking that boxing hasn't been corrupt for much of its history. This is a sport where there is obviously bought judges, dodgy decisions, boxing organisations giving favourable rankings (WBO and Warren.. WBC) , blatant PED use, boxers caught for dodgy hand fill/wrapping, obvious dives (Malik Scott, that Nigerian dude who fought Wardley/dubois.. List goes on.. None of which I believe are ongoing/open investigations) . It's not at all ridiculous to think fights can be fixed. In fact blindly accepting everything in a dodgy sport is ridiculous. You think it's ridiculous and out of the realms of possibility that an opponent can sign NDAs and earn millions to take a dive? Sign me up, id take a dive. Also where were Kovalev, Yildrim, Smith, Plant heading in there careers to make you think they'd be earning megabucks in the future.. Not really anywhere, unless they accept a Canelo paycheck. Again though, you didn't address any of the quite clear observations in some of Canelo's fights.
he didnt address em cause you live in crazy town. you have no idea how bat**** crazy you sound. none. logic doesnt exist in your world. emotion takes up all the space.
