If he won a cruiserweight title then went down to unify 175 by beating 2 out of 3 of Bivol, Beterbiev, Smith Jr would probably do the job.

    Fight Benavidez
    Undisputed @ 175

He could potentially do that in 2 years, and still have a couple years left to do whatever.

To fully complete a Floyd legacy, he must test positive for IVs!

Strange how everybody forgot about that...

Doesn't really matter. Both will be regarded as ATGs.

Pretty sure if your Canelo fan you don't want to be bringing up illegal drug use.

I don’t think he can. Floyd toyed with him. It was one of Mayweathers easier nights and he was 36. I’m not sure Canelo can ever surpass him. He wasnt then, and never will be on Mayweathers level.

yes, fighters can surpass who beat them. A career is total fights and accomplishments, not one fight where there was also a weight agreement and he was younger.

Floyd should have been 49-1, but casuals will probably always rate Floyd as better because he beat Canelo, and “never lost”. If that were true, yeah, there’d be a reasonable argument. But he did lose, it just wasn’t put as it should have been.

This kind of reasoning makes Canelo look far worse than Floyd.

Pretty sure Mayweather DOMINATED Canelo when he was almost forty.
