spot on! Tim wasn't deemed a silver spoon cash cow right off the bat...he too had to work for fights and title shots coming up.
The amount of disrespect Bradley is showing Makabu here is disgraceful. He don't know who he is, he don't know nothing about no Makabu well Tim maybe you should find out more about him. For Bradley to just completely trash him like this before he even had a look just shows total ignorance and just a bad attitude. We've seen a very mixed reaction to this announcement, but that's no excuse for this. Bradley, you should take a look at Makabu and evaluate him as a fighter before you judge him without knowing a damn thing about him.
Tim on point in this one... and lmao @shadow111 you fool you didnt even knew who Makabu was before this Canelo **** stop acting like you care about him... we know your casual ass only has eyes for Canelo.
Canelo is a fraud His fights with GGG (one he lost) are all he has. Everything else is smoke and mirrors.
Have some respect for yourself and for other boxers in the sport that may not be well known. I didn't claim to know much about Makabu before this announcement but now I'm taking the time to evaluate him as a fighter which is what we all should be doing. You and so many others just immediately jump to trashing anything that Canelo does especially if it isn't precisely what you selfishly think he should be doing. If you took the time to take a look at Makabu as a fighter and his career, I think you'll find that he's very talented and deserves credit for what he's accomplished in the sport. Instead of worrying about me and how I view the sport you should be more concerned with the state of your ignorance and how your skewed view of Canelo clouds your view and limits your ability to cover the sport properly. To some people, hating on Canelo for fun has become like a hobby to live an existence of doing anything you can possibly do to discredit Canelo no matter who that hurts or how foolish it makes you look. But where it crosses the line is when you disrespect a fighter like Makabu just as a means to try and discredit Canelo. Then it's no longer just about Canelo but now you're taking a very accomplished boxer who deserves respect and trying to hang him out to dry just to perpetuate a narrative that is rooted in a kind of Canelo butthurt syndrome that saps you of practically all your boxing analytical thinking. You must live a very miserable life to not be excited about this fight or to use this opportunity to complain and moan about who you think Canelo should be fighting instead as if you're opinion means anything. I'm enjoying going back and taking a closer look at Makabu and watching some of his fights now and I've found a great fighter that frankly none of us knew very much about before this week. And that's OK, there's nothing wrong with not knowing much about Makabu and now taking the time to find out more and learn what kind of a fighter he is. That's the complete opposite of what Bradley is doing. This isn't a competition to pretend that you know more about more fighters than someone else. Showing all boxers respect should be a universal theme that everyone should agree with. Especially World Champions like Makabu that we all should be motivated to learn more about now.
When was the last time Timbo stepped in with a Cruiser weight … period? He barley squeezed by an ancient 147lb Márquez FFS! Let him fight whoever he wants to fight. He’s 31 fighting 4-5 times a year. That leaves •Beterbiev •Bivol •Benavides •Charlo all next year After El Africano Más Grande. why are peeps complaining?
