The difference between dominating an era and being the era's top contender can potentially be as great as the difference between Daniel Jacobs and Mike Tyson.

There's plenty of fighters now that could be top contenders in virtually any era, that's very, very different to being a dominant champion in any era.

I think your best bet right now would be Lomachenko, Usyk and Golovkin. You could say Canelo too, but he's got the PEDs story going on. Assuming his excuses are for real, add him to the list. Tyson Fury at his best would always be a top fighter. I just don't know if he's got the consistency though. To my mind there's those 5 that are standouts. Crawford could be a sixth.

Precisely what I was going to say. I'd be most confident with Loma though.

So long as he stayed in his weightclass. Skill can only offset so much.

He's going to dominate 147 in the Fab 4 era? He's going to dominate Duran at 135?

What? when exactly did he dominate any of those divisions during his real career? I'd really like to see him dominate the lightweight division in the 1970's, He couldn't dominate Juan Manuel Marquez much less divisions in any era..

There's only a couple of men fighting today who might dominate their weight class in any era, a prime Lomachenko might come close at 126, or a prime Chocolatito Gonzalez , Inoue is good but it's to soon to match him with greats at his weight.. As of now no one else has reached anything close to that level.

Hilarious. Pac would bury Lomachenko at any weight class they fight in.

Usyk would stand a better chance but Tyson would have beaten him, Hagler and Robinson would have beaten GGG.

Canelo is not te greatest 160 pounder of all-time but would have had a chance at beating any super middle in history, Moorer would have destroyed Canelo at 175, he was a far better finisher.
