Bomber Graham made sense. Bomber being British slang for someone constantly moving fast. Graham actually mentioned he had the nickname before he started boxing.

Michael"Dynamite"Dokes. Despite his incredible speed, his power was a bit overrated.

James "Lights Out" Toney - A good, underrated puncher, but not a knockout artist.

Bernard " The Executioner" Hopkins - He never was an all out offensive fighter looking for the KO. He was a cautious & calculating fighter. A name like "The Strategist" would be more appropriate.

Andre "SOG" Ward - He was a dirty fighter & fought nothing like a "Son of God" would.

Ricardo "El Finito" Lopez. Was he really finite in a literal sense?

Tony TNT Tubbs gives the impression of a very explosive guy. Bang!

    we saw nothing like it.

The guy fought and looked like he was only motivated going to the ice cream parlour.

should have been Tony “ice cream” Tubbs.

Both of the "Sugar Rays". Both of them where viscous and remorseless when they had an opponent hurt. Same with
That "Sugar Shane" fella in his prime lol.
The perfect nickname was Both "Hit Man" Thomas Hearns, before and a few fights after The 1st Ray Leonard fight and loss before he got his MOJO back. And Motor city Cobra in between that 1st loss and the Duran fight.

How about max Schmelings moniker, “The Black Uhlan of the Rhine”?

    He was a white guy!

Ricardo "El Matador" Mayorga never made much sense to me considering his style was all about bullrushing his opponents, the complete opposite of a matador.

James did have a big punch. Strong guy. He took out Witherspoon, Bruno and Weaver which is nothing to sneeze at.

Same for Jesus Chavez, who had that nickname, but never took a backward step and wasn’t difficult to find.
