It was very close but the eye injury has finally tipped it to Bud.

The only thing that would tip it back prior to a H2H fight is Bud losing to Porter.

I'm going to try to resist reading too much in to style points. All three of them are very different so I don't think a triangle theory will hold much water.

    Crawford for me

Spence has a better resume sure but i like Crawfords more aggressive manner

Add that to what is a very good skill set and that makes my decision

That can’t be answered until after this weekend. Bud Crawford can make a huge statement by dominating Shawn Porter and I guarantee he’s gonna be ranked #1 by The Ring and other credible ranking sources. If it’s a typical razor close Shawn Porter fight then the ranking will stay the same. If Shawn Porter wins in clear fashion he might be the best WW if we’re judging by his close loss to Spence, close win over Ugas and a win over Bud..

But saying Crawford because he’s more aggressive is null and void for now. Spence was just as demolishing before actually fighting guys in the Top 5, something Bud is about to do for the first time at WW. Outside of Jeff Horn he actually hasn’t even fought a top 10 WW.

Bud has an excellent skills set but my boy EJ Erroll Spence Junior is a mixture of the mindset mentality of Marvin Hagler, the body punching ability of Mike McCallum and the excellent fundamental skills set of fellow Texan and my hero the great Don Curry. Coupled with EJ’s natural size Advantage when they fight I believe EJ will tax Bud’s ass.

I think it will happen after EJ beats Ugas to collect the WBA belt and before EJ moves up for the mega fight with Canelo. This assumes Bud beat Showtime Porter tomorrow.

spence will never fight canelo. canelo will not be back to 160 and anything above wont be taken seriously by canelo team. spence is too small.

I think he well may if Spence is the fighter we think he is and keeps winning. It may have to be a catch weight if 164 pounds as I don’t think Canelo can ever make 160 pounds again.

Well I don’t see Canelo, Lil G or anyone rushing to get in there with the monster that David Benaivides is.

the point is that spence is well aware of the difference between the guys hes fighting, and the guys up at mw. he aint trying to sell wolf tickets, hes telling it straight. he wasnt laughing out of fear, it was from the ridiculousness of the question.

Fighting a David Benaivides and winning will require careful strategy and application and frankly is not something many would consider is my point. Canelo is certainly in no rush either. Benaivides is a beast man. EJ will have little room for error.

    1- Spence is still 1st
(but he is slipping in rank due to inactivity/injuries )

    2- Crawford is close 2nd
(could surpass him if he KOs Porter)

3- Ugas / Porter (I think he beat porter knockdown was not counted)

    4 - Boots / Ortiz
(Boots has the edge but these guys are interchangeable as they have sensational fights every time. Would love to see them fight a common opponent or better yet each other to really find out … “quién es EL MÁS MACHO!?
