Can Cotto Go 12 Rounds Without Being Seriously Hurt By Margarito?

Hell no, Margarito throws a hundred plus punches per round so I highly doubt that.

Not saying he is gonna land all of them. Its not like Cotto is gonna miss all of them either.

remember Margo broke a compubox record for more punches thrown. If he brings that pressure, he's bond to catch Cotto. The thing is can Cotto crack his body early enough without getting caught and slow Margos assult? I think Cotto has good enough feet and head movement to get in and out without taking a solid shot. Cotto has to be smart about it, he can't stay in there to long.

By the way the compubox record was broken during the Clottey fight. don't remember if it was in a round or for an entire fight.

I think he can. Its highly possible that he will be hurt once or twice but do you guys forget that proper counter-punching can cut his workrate in half?

No, he's still the favorite in my eyes... but Margarito will land something serious at least once if it goes 12 rounds.

Are you a shrink? You'd better ask yourself can Margo sustain Cotto's punches for 12 rounds.

cotto is finished; you can stick a fork in him now. His only hope is that Margarito suffers a major sickness and he has to pull out of the fight. This scenario has been in cotto's prayers since the fight was announced. If cotto is to have a career after this fight he or his corner should quit around round 7. I write this because if this fight turns into a war cotto will never be the same fighter again. Cotto is a helluva fighter but in the early morning hrs. of July 27th it will be said that cotto was a helluva fighter until...
    well you know.

He will be hurt I'm sure of it, but god knows Margarito will find it hard to put him down, just as every single opponent he's faced has found out.

As yourself this then, can Margarito go the 12 rounds without being hurt by Cotto, because he's been down more times, most specifically from body shots, and Cotto is the best body puncher in boxing atm. Also, he's been rocked now and again.

Trust me on this, his chin isn't as good as people are making out, it's still very good but he's not going to walk through Cotto's shots like he did with Cintron's right hands.
