You can’t beat live boxing. Even if it’s a one sided show you appreciate it a lot more being there, seeing it live.
You're right but, and sorry to be pedantic, but it's not highlights its a delayed broadcast, all be it a 90 second delay rather than a 6 hour delay as with F1 on channel 4.
The notion that a TV company can guarantee a stream to be near-live is a pipe dream. Unless they own, or control the plumbing like a cable company then there’s no way they can promise it - and even then, they shouldn’t. “Live” just means something else than we’ve been used to, I’m afraid. Even the BBC is mandated to turn off transmitters by 2040 so we’ve got 19 years to get used to some form of broadcast TV before IP takes over.
Just watching the Azim fight, Adam Smith is litteraly creaming his pants at the fact he's beaten a journeyman.
Background soundtrack is doing my head in. Whether you like Jonas & Woolhouse or not; having the music drown them out is poor. Need them back in a studio - whole production just feels substandard to the sky/matchroom stuff (appreciate dazn ain’t been great either).
Burton's performance was so bad it's hard to believe. Azeez completely battered him from round 1 til the stoppage. Burton couldn't land a short and what he was throwing looked pitty patty crappy punches. I want to give Azeez credit because he looked excellent but can't help but focus on how bad Burton looked in that fight. No head movement. Stood upright like a tall lamp, ready to be lit up.
