Porters has had one fight since 2019.. against a guy Connor Benn dominated.. in a months time it will be 2022.. let that sink in.. The standards for today are crazy low sometimes.. this fight outcome was an obvious pick… Porter & his ageing style was ripe for the picking here..

Yeah, Porter went down the second time because he was trying to bum rush Bud and see if he can drop him, or move it back into the 10-9 column. Clearly he realized he'd made a mistake and was angry with himself, which is why he was pounding the mat. But he's as elusive as hell when he wants to be and could've survived, and his goddamn ****bag of a father knows that.

He was down on the cards, had been down twice in the round, was clearly hurt, the fight was over man. I mean I would have been cool with it going longer but make no mistake it was over.

he did awesome. I had him winning until the kds. He did way better than what I expected. Underrated fighter porter.

In the second half Crawford was hitting Porter on the inside. Porter's advantage up close was evaporating.

It was a clubbing shot, when he was bent down. A ref ruling that as a slip or a push wouldn't have been egregious at all. It was a hell of a lot less clear than the shot Kavaliauskas DIDN'T get credit for, when he dropped Bud. Regardless.... it certainly wasn't some huge knockdown worthy of stopping the fight over.

The outcome, but did you even think Porter was going to be competitive?

There is no doubt that Crawford would have knocked Porter out cold if the fight were allowed to continue.

yes, no doubt. For god's sake, crawford is the best finisher in boxing today. No way porter had finished this fight standing.

    But

Porter had the right to try it till the end. Not a good stoppage. BS stuff.

Porter had a great gameplan. Crawford timing is special though. Porter looked more annoyed than hurt.
