That was honestly one of the worst corner stoppages ive ever seen. It seemed like it was punishment for something Shawn might have done during camp.. shawn is a warrior and was doing great in the "biggest fight" of his career. I cant wrap my head around it.
Definitely a premature stoppage. Shawn was slamming the canvas in frustration as if he knew he made a mistake that led to the KD but in no way was he hurt. As you say, after hearing Kenny post fight it seemed like some sort of punishment for how the camp went. Weird indeed.
Seems the way all over the world, a father is always in some way envious of his son. Maybe Kenny had dreams of becoming what Sean has, and is hard on him in an attempt to regain some power or authority that he no longer has. Shawn is a grown man, but you can tell he has an unhealthy amount of respect for his dad. I think Shawn will realise that tonight was BS, but i think he will sooner retire than fire Kenny just to keep peace. Kenny is a *****.
Did Shawn buy the house infront of his father's or did Kenny buy the house infront of his son's, or did Kenny order Shawn to buy the house infront of his own house?
It was an awful stoppage. But I doubt it very much that it was anything shady or him punishing him. He didn't want his son violently stopped. Might actually do Porter good in the long run optics wise.
Kenny seems like the kind of father who would pull out the power cord when Shawn was beating him at Mario Kart.
I can agree, but there was 2 rounds left. Anything could have happened, and he was ready to continue.
Seems likely Kenny: "Shawn, I want to see you at my house for breakfast tomorrow morning, 7am sharp, some can discuss how disgraceful you were in training and during the fight." Shawn: "Yessir"
