My worry is him taking too many shots. I dont like seeing young fighters with talent get wrecked by elite level fighters when theyre not ready. I think he has a better shot against Crawford than Spence tbh.

boots and ortiz wont be fighting anytime soon, not in my estimation. they will keep winning, using each others name to get recognition and build expectations in the boxing world. both are young and blue chip prospects, its a natural superfight that should be fought in their primes.

I just think he underestimated the skill level and power of Kava, and wanted to go in guns blazing and blast hi out quicker than Bud did, but once he felt the power, he tightened up his defense and slowly broke him down, and still managed to do the trick and got him out a round quicker. Thus far, those two rounds are really the only times I've seen him take that kind of damage.

For me there has to be one to stand out, right now its ennis but man with guys like crawford and Spence running the division, a fight between Ortiz and Ennis may never happen at a championship level. I think the fight would be huge now in a title eliminator and see who comes out as the next top challenger.

I remember when Cooper hurt Ali. Exposed him for being fragile. Ali "The Egg" they used to call him, until he retired and MSM rewrote the history.

spence and crawford got maybe 2 years left before these young lions start to take over their territory. theyre the real deal, and the teams know this. i think they fight before then, winner moves up, and loser gets taken down by the youngsters.

Who do you think wins right now if they fought tommorow, Ortiz or Ennis?

slight edge to ortiz. the kid is a brick shithouse, with skills and a murderers instinct. ennis looks great when given the time to plan his shots, but vergil keeps you reacting, doesnt give you room to plan.

Idk, i think ennis has the skills and is very sharp with his punches. Also he has good punch placement, and can fight off the backfoot or if he needs to, in the trenches. Like i said i Love Ortiz but see more potential in Boots. Damn i wish that fight would happen before they get a title oppurtunity, just so we know which fighter is ready.

ennis doesnt get a lot of media coverage, so he may be the same, but i know vergil is a gym rat always looking to improve. he has the mentality every trainer wants in a pupil. you can teach a guy like that anything. so i know we arent anywhere near seeing him peak. which is a scary situation for the division.

Spence isn`t that skilled at al, he`s just a weight bully, if Ortiz beats Ennis then it proves he`s better than Spence.

Hes got to beat boots first. Spence is number 1 and Crawford is Clearly the number 2 at WW.

People might hate me for saying this, but I still think a prime Kell Brook before the Golovkin fight / stabbings etc would be the number 1 Weltwerweight today.

Clearly? He just stoppe Porter while Porter might have actually beaten Spence, it was a close fight.
