Might be a weight issue with him. His left hook was horrible later on in the fight, really not turning it over and more like slapping.

He just had no authority, he was trying to take the centre but wasn't doubling his jab up or varying it, azeem just ended up walking him down in effect as Burton was looking to counter with the uppercut, then also uppercut, straight right left hook but his left hook was always going over the top of azeem.

Burton clearly talented but nothing was there tonight, just look like a shell of a fighter (with a good chin I might add!).

 

Enjoyed the show tonight. The Albanians came out on force tonight and made a great atmosphere for Marku fight. Place would have been near empty if he wasn't on the card.

 

I’d cheer for Ian Huntley over Marku.

 

Maybe a new high in the new era last night with the Crawford v Porter fight - incredible that people fork out loot for Puddings such as Whyte and Chisora when this exceptional talent is on Sky Sports.

I agree. It was an excellent fight. Porter did surprisingly well. What really disappointed me was Sky Sports just put on the international feed from Top Rank. I thought they would have studio with experts + their own commentators. Sky Sports has done a lot of PR for this big fight but they treated the event badly.

 

I've heard that if Florian Marku was not on the card, less than 500 tickets would have been sold, so the names Boxxer / Sky Sports had on the boxing card yesterday do not interest people.

 

It was Crawford´s last fight with Top Rank. Maybe a chance for Eddie Hearn / DAZN ?

 

If he’s got any sense he’ll go with PBC. They have Spence, Ugas and Ennis. Can only think of Ortiz Jr who’s one of the top welterweights who isn’t with PBC.

Eh Day is fighting for game saved now on DAZN UK and it has all went quiet on the DAZN takeover of BT Sports as well.

A big announcement must be imminent after 'advanced talks' at the end of October.

 

DAZN social media has had to resort to talking about fights on other broadcasts. 80% of the stuff on their socials is Top Rank and PBC.
