No, it's not way. Spence only got one door and that door is Crawford. If Spence goes to 154, it will be said that he is running and if he fights Ugas, it will be said that he is ducking. He has got to deal with this Crawford issue. I think he knows that and is about to prepare himself for it. Neither fighter has fear of the other but they both know that the time has come.

What is this star appeal you speak of with regards to Spence? Errol Spence is nowhere near the level of draw that Canelo is, so why would Canelo need to move down to a 164 catchwweight for a hypothetical matchup with a guy who likely isn't on his radar?

This is in line with your own rationale of "Tank should get the lion's share of the purse when he fights Taylor because Tank is by far the bigger draw."

See how you have made a rod for your own back? :sisi1

Two of the worst decisions he could ever make.

I think they will want Errol to take a tune up first to see how he does with his eye etc.

Meanwhile Bud could fight Ugas and collect another trinket....then they can meet for all the marbles end of 2022.

Why should Spence not fight Ugas for the WBA he was about to collect off Pacquiao before the eye injury. Of course he should. He can take care of Bud this time next year.

Exactly he made quit and say No Mas. Literally beat the fight out of him and took his soul.

Canelo drew 800,000 PPV buys Spence is drawing 350,000-500,000 PPV buys it’s obvious that together they will generate well over 1 Million PPV make each other even richer.

do you ever make a post just for the love of boxing, and all it encompasses? one thats not motivated either by trashing a fighter, or hyping one up. im not trying to be an *******(just works out that way), but it just feels to me like you never do. dont get me wrong, you contribute a lot of great media content, which is more than i do. maybe im wrong, a review of one days postings would prove that its me. but its not about that, im not trying to research you, just a question i would ask if we were having a beer playing poker. but if its not me, are you aware that youre doing it? and i like you, ive told you i think youre an asset to the forum, its just a question thats been poppin up periodically in my head. cause it comes off malicious to the reader.

Because don't anybody want to see that first. The same man is both of their last fights and it sets the stage perfectly. The drama, the money, and the interest. It's a perfect storm. The winner can then go get at Ugas, that is if one them young guns like Ortiz, Taylor or Jaron haven't gobbled him up.

you know i love me some spence, but he once said tuneups were for fighters who arent sure of themselves, im gonna hold my man to that. i would consider ugas a tune up for crawford. others may not.

There is truth to that Ugas is quality but he is a ghost compared to Crawford....I think if Crawford will fight Spence you skip Ugas he is big strong, good and dangerous and fight him later. Ugas has the goods but he hasn't had a coming out fight to market him yet though his fights with Porter and Paq could have been but instead the talking heads missed it. Personally I think Porters fight with Ugas showed the miles put on Porter fighting a murders row of top fighters has taken some resilience out of Shawn. Spence is the man at 147 and should take the big name fight and get his name into the money mix

It's not as simple as adding the two figures together, a lot of those will be the same people

Before Canelo moved up to SMW I would have said a catch-weight fight between the two could have been doable but we're way past that now.

The ONLY fight for Spence now is Crawford. Given the potentially fragile state of his face teeth and eye due to the accident, any other fight is just risking a career ending injury.

If he boxes on, and is in it for anything else apart from tick over money, Crawford is the only fight for him now
