Got to say that I have not seen the slightest sign of quit in Eubanks Jnr.

People can criticise him as not living up to the level of his father in the ring but he is good to watch and never gives in.

    Calm down, Cupcake.
    1) He hasn't pulled out, at least yet, so why would there be an explanation?
    2) Putting " " around "injury" doesn't stop it being an actual injury.

Plenty of fighters fight every fight with "injuries" its part of any professional sports persons career.

Did the bottom fall out of Williams arsehole after all of the trash talk as a keyboard warrior.

Eubank Jr says he bottled confrontation face to face, and didnt back up what he said online.

We've barely seen him challenged either. For a fighter talked about so highly, often by himself, the fact that he talked himself up into fights like Golovkin only to then fight the likes of Quinlan and a shot to peices Abraham before what I must admit was an impressive KO over Yildrim says a lot about his career. @CutThroatFade I see your point and I have defended Jnr on here in the past but when I think of warriors I think of guys like Rosado, yeah he's lost a lot but look who he's been in with, he's not been fussed about protecting his 0 or his 2, he just tests himself against the best and we get some great fights out of it. For Jnr it's been largely a steady stream of carefully picked opposition, look at the last two, I know he's not been that active but whose fault is that? If you just want to go around looking and waiting for Abrahams, Degales and Koborovs to pad out your CV with names that's fine but that's not warrior behaviour, not for me. Look at Rosados last two fights, look at Jnrs.

I get why people are into Jnr, can find him entertaining etc. but he's not my bag, I think underneath all of this he's a little unsure himself, he's not what his dad was and he's always compared to him, his CV isn't that of a great, the two fights he's had that you could call career defining so far were defeats to Brits, he's trying too hard to dress up these days and then there's the tattooed hairline.

CEJ certainly has taken the Tony Dosh PPV career route mate.

Cannot see him becoming a World Champion now he has wasted his best years.

Still good to watch at his level but needs to fight the guys he talks about or stay quiet.

yes like I said before in the thread he came across unlike himself Williams I think whatever has gone on if it’s injury or something else has already happened he didn’t look like he wanted to be there to me very unlike him who is very outspoken and comes across super confident in the past .

Williams doesn’t strike me as a bottler. I would imagine it would be a genuine injury, just doesn’t seem that type of guy.

Is actually off? Can’t see it anywhere except here that it’s off. And the daily express but looks like they got that off here!

I’ve seen on Twitter that whilst Williams hasn’t posted anything about the injury, he’s liked someone’s comment sticking up for him pulling out. Might be nothing.

However this is a proper catch 22 - we all want to see the fight, and Williams is going to get stick if he pulls out, but if he stays in the fight to avoid bad press and enters injured he’s going to get battered and it’ll be a non-event.

For all the criticism Eubank gets, financially he has handled his career brilliantly. Growing up in a house where your father almost killed a man in the ring is guaranteed to change your feelings towards the sport.

While I have no doubt he would love to be a world champion, I’m sure his plan from day one has been to make as much money as possible and leave the sport with his health.

So far it seems to be going to plan.

Lack of announcement says to me they’re actively seeking a replacement for Eubank. Don’t want to announce it and ticket holders scramble for a refund. Get a replacement in first and as per conditions tickets still stand.

Eggington maybe? Then again, I get the impression with how well Channel 5 is going the Egg man might be fed up being an opponent now.
